Rules/Dates
- The 2009 round of the Salt & Burn Awards will open for nominations on 2nd July 2009. All nominations must be received by Midnight (BST) 31st July and judging will commence on 1st August.
- The 'Best New Author' and 'Best Author' categories will be open for public voting from 3rd August 2009.
- Authors nominated in the 'New Authors' category must not have been writing in the Supernatural fandom for longer than 12 months. (Proof will be required - websites/journals are acceptable.)
- All nominated fics must be publically accessable without requiring the user to register for a site. Friends locked entries on journal websites (LJ, GJ, IJ etc) are not acceptable, nor are posts via Yahoo Groups.
- All nominations must be accompanied by the code phrase family business. Nominations which do not include this phrase will be discarded.
- All nominated fics must be complete. We are no longer accepting works in progress for the judged rounds.
- RPS/RPF fics may only be nominated in the RPS/RPF category. Fics which incorporate an element of RPS/RPF are not eligible for inclusion in this round. A special RPS/RPF 'crossover' round will be run in the near future.
- Judges' decisions are final.
